Down to Earth

Location. Down to Earth

Description

Down to Earth is RAMM’s geology gallery. There are a huge range of rocks and fossils from different geological periods on display. They tell the story of Devon’s natural history, from the early coral seas around 409 million years ago to the last Ice Age. Some animals are perfectly preserved: each bone, scale and tooth. Others leave only traces, such as footprints in the sand.

Close-up captions: RAMM’s digital close-up captions enable you to use your own mobile device to read the information that is on display beside each object. Follow the link for the close-up captions of Down to Earth.
