Blackfoot ceremonial elder regalia

Description

A Blackfoot ceremonial elder, Herman Yellow Old Woman, made the regalia in the 1990s. It took him three years. He tanned the hide and applied the beadwork himself. It was presented to RAMM in 2022 in thanks for the return of Chief Crowfoot’s regalia to the Siksika Nation in Canada.
